Pro Staffers Matt and Brett Grrimm Hunted the famed Double H Ranch in New Mexico. The Ranch is owned by the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and is over 130,000 acres of some of the best Elk Hunting in the Country. Brett was lucky enough to recieve a management Elk Tag for the ranch and Matt was able to go along and film the hunt. It was a do it yourself hunt and made for a very interesting hunt. The weather was a bit cold and snowy, but we managed to make it work and got a cow down the first day. We had come to find out that it was the first DIY elk ever taken off the ranch, which only added to the excitment of the hunt. We had a few days left and decded to explore the ranch a bit only to find some indian pottery from the Anasazi Indians that turned out to be 1000 years old also found some ancient Indian Petroglyphs carved into the Rocks. It was amazing.
