Growing
up one of Jim’s favorite memories is fishing with his
father and brother, camping out at Meramec Springs or Bennett
Springs and trout fishing, occasionally heading out to the Danville
Conservation area for some small game hunting. Jim’s passion
for whitetail hunting struck him a few years ago after some
persuasion from his Brother in law, which he says is amazing,
because he normally has a hard time sitting still but can sit
in a tree stand for hours and be completely intent. Someday
Jim wants to travel west to hunt the majestic Rocky Mountain
Elk, but bow hunting in general is an obsession for Jim. Being
a part of the Heartland Hunters Pro Staff has enabled Jim to
arrow his largest buck ever, a Pope and Young giant.
