October 1st was the opening day of Goose season in Missouri this year. Somehow between two boats, seven hunters, a hundred decoys and a dog we managed to bring down a total of 2 geese!

Friendship ends at the boat ramp.......

We left Saturday night....11:30 got to the boat ramp at 2:00, got on the lake at 3:30, for one of the coldest duck hunts this season!
What an anterless season! Thanks to Joe for inviting us, and to Jerry for providing such wonderful accomodations!
First turkey of the year. We've all been working the gobblers hard but to no avial. Matt took this monster during the second week, 23 pounds 11.5 " beard and 1.25" spurs.
